🇨🇱🇯🇵 Fostering Stronger Ties: Chile and Japan Cultivate Carbon Neutrality Efforts

A few days ago, during the visit of the Parliamentary Vice-President of Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) to Chile, they met with the Minister of Energy, Diego Pardow. Together, they participated in a working session to expand Chile's commitment to international collaboration with Japan, forging a coordinated effort to achieve shared objectives in carbon neutrality.

Both nations recognize the urgent need to address climate change and pool their expertise, resources, and technological advancements to propel sustainable development. Chile and Japan aim to accelerate the transition toward a carbon-neutral future by fostering a robust partnership.

Both countries are actively exploring innovative solutions, implementing effective policies, and driving clean energy initiatives that will have a tangible and lasting impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
