We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Minister Shintaro Ito of Japan's Environment Ministry for visiting the solar installation at Tehmco's facility in Renca, Chile.
This 2.0 MW solar power plant, the largest for auto-consumption in the commune, exemplifies the success of international collaboration in advancing renewable energy. As part of the consulting team, we're honored to have played a role in this Japan-Chile Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Model Project, which unites Renca and Toyama City in a shared vision for sustainability. The project, spearheaded by Tehmco and Solarity counted with JCM support, not only enhancing local energy independence but also setting a new benchmark for cross-border green initiatives.
We acknowledge the contributions of La Fábrica de Renca, Asian Gateway, the Renca Municipality, Toyama City, Tehmco, Solarity, and the Environment Ministries of Chile and Japan. Minister Ito's visit emphasize the tangible results of the Renca-Toyama City-to-City Collaboration, as this 2.0 MW solar installation stands as concrete evidence of this partnership's effectiveness. Moving forward, we anticipate this collaboration will yield more innovative projects in the country, further reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy independence.
