INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION
What do Renca (Chile) and Toyama (Japan) have in common? One would think that not much, except for the people that live in both cities. Two very different countries with very complementary sustainability visions.
This City-to-City collaboration scheme allowed for this Rooftop 2MW PV Power Plant to be approved by the Joint Crediting Mechanism in 2022 and was completed in February 2024.
Currently, in operation, it is expected to contribute to an emission reduction of 1,200 tCO2/year and reduce the company’s electric grid consumption by 12%.
